The mission of the Westborough Historical Society is to serve the community by preserving and sharing our local history.
Our Vision is to:
Maintain a collection of historic local artifacts and documents that connect Westborough's present to its past;
Provide monthly accessible, engaging and content-rich programs;
Partner with local organizations to enhance historical perspectives and build community pride;
Use our resources to inspire local students and foster their historical understanding; and
Promote interest in Westborough by sharing historical stories that are unique to our town.

"An Evening With the Poetry of Phillis Wheatley"
In honor of Blackburn History Month, the WHS History Book Group is hosting "An Evening With the Poetry of Phillis Wheatley" at the Sibley House, 13 Parkman Street. Come hear her story and join us in reading her poetry aloud.
We will have copies of her works or feel free to bring your own. Share your favorite Phillis Wheatley poem and listen to others share theirs. Light refreshments will be served. Free and open to the public.
